Welcome to the new site!
I’ve already mentioned this to my email subscribers, but I’ve been working on building a new website and setting up a new email system for a while now, since I wasn’t too happy with the old one.
I struggled with transferring all the old content until I realized I really didn’t have to. Half of my old blog posts were from my blogging a book experiment, and the contents of those posts have been taken down since. Besides, it would have taken me just as much time (maybe more) to figure out the transfer as it would to just rebuild the whole thing from scratch. So, with that in mind, the whole process became much smoother, and here we are today. So welcome, I hope you like it as much as I do.
Alright then, in other news (grin), a lot has happened since my last post on the old page. I finally published the Exodus Trilogy Omnibus Edition, and the 2nd ed. of Valerian’s Company (my not-so-well-known fantasy novella). Valerian’s Company never sold well, and even if it had, I wasn’t happy with it. I figure it’s something few of my regular readers would like, but there was also the crappy home-made cover and the sloppy self-editing… So I sent it to my editor, who gave it some first aid (I’ll leave it up to readers to decide if it’s any good. I’m probably the worst judge of my own work), and hired Amber Feldcamp to do the cover. (which I think looks awesome!)
I´ve been doing a lot of optimizing and tweaking of website stuff, email stuff, ads stuff and so on, and frankly, my writing has fallen a bit behind. So, once I press “publish” on this post, I´m off. Next thing you´ll hear on the blog will be when something fresh published.
Oh, yeah, and I forgot to mention that I´ll try to post about once a week from now on. (yeah right, I hear you…) But I do mean it. If nothing else, then just a short post letting you all know I´m still here!
Okay, off to write something! 😀
